Skilled Plasterboard Worker


We are in need of a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Acre. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard in residential and commercial buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to specific dimensions
- Install plasterboard on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Apply tape, joint compound, and other materials to seal gaps and create a smooth finish
- Sand down surfaces to ensure a perfect finish
- Repair any damaged or uneven areas on existing plasterboard surfaces
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment when handling tools and materials
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plasterboard Worker or in a similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in other languages is an asset)
- Experience working with different types of plasterboard materials is preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
