Entry-Level Carpenter in Bungoma, Kenya


We are a construction company based in Bungoma, Kenya and we are looking for an entry-level Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Your main duties will include measuring and marking cutting lines on materials, shaping materials to specific measurements using hand or power tools, and assembling structures using nails, screws, or adhesives.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in carpentry or related field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong knowledge of different types of wood materials and their uses
- Proficient in using carpentry tools such as saws, drills, and chisels
- Physically fit to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
