Carpenter - Woodworking Specialist


We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Bungoma. As a Woodworking Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of wood, including furniture, cabinets, and other items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with their hands and creating functional and beautiful pieces.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or sketches to determine materials needed and dimensions of the structure
- Measure, cut, shape, and join wood pieces using hand tools or power tools
- Install structures such as cabinets, shelves, doors, and molding
- Repair or replace damaged wood parts of existing structures
- Sand and finish surfaces to ensure a smooth and polished appearance
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or Woodworking Specialist
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of different types of wood materials and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to carry out tasks such as lifting heavy objects or standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Bungoma (accommodation not provided)
Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.
Part-time positions available.
Kenyan nationality preferred.
