Metal Worker
We are currently seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team in Triesen. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and installing metal products according to project specifications. You will also be required to operate various tools and equipment including saws, drills, and welding machines.
To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in metalworking and a strong understanding of different types of metals and their properties. You must also have excellent hand-eye coordination, physical strength, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Read project plans and blueprints to determine materials needed and dimensions
- Cut, shape, and bend metal into desired forms using various tools
- Weld or solder pieces together to create final product
- Smooth out rough edges or imperfections using grinders or sanders
- Install finished products on site according to specifications
- Repair damaged metal products by cutting out damaged sections and replacing with new pieces
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Follow safety protocols while handling tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; vocational training in metalworking preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Strong knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Proficient in operating various tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and welding machines
- Ability to read project plans and blueprints accurately
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical strength for lifting heavy materials
- Attention to detail with the ability to produce precise work
- Excellent communication skills for working within a team environment
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
Location:
This position is located in Triesen, a town in the Principality of Liechtenstein. It is a beautiful and peaceful country known for its stunning alpine landscape, charming villages, and low crime rate. While English is not a requirement for this job, knowledge of German would be beneficial for daily interactions.
