Moderator for Online Community (Alta, Norway)



As a Moderator for our online community in Alta, Norway, your main role will be to ensure that our platform remains a safe and welcoming space for our users. You will be responsible for moderating user-generated content, enforcing community guidelines, and responding to user inquiries and concerns. This is a full-time position that offers a salary of 1400$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor user-generated content and ensure it complies with community guidelines
- Respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Moderate comments on posts and remove any inappropriate or offensive content
- Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere by encouraging constructive discussions
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new policies or guidelines as needed
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and issues within the online community space

Requirements:
- Previous experience in moderating online communities is preferred
- Fluent in Norwegian language (written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Passionate about creating safe online spaces for users
