Instrument Technician



A leading oil and gas company in Jeddah is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join their team. This is a full-time contract position with a competitive salary of 1600$ per month. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control systems, as well as experience working in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings
- Document all maintenance and repair activities for record keeping purposes
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and solve complex problems
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on equipment
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry developments related to instrumentation

Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles, including knowledge of different types of sensors, transmitters, controllers, etc.
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
