Head Chef in Acre, Israel
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at our restaurant in the beautiful city of Acre, Israel. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. You will also oversee the training and development of our kitchen staff, ensuring that they adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Responsibilities:
- Create new menu items and update existing menus as needed
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers
- Oversee food preparation and ensure dishes are prepared to company standards
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
Salary: $1700 per month
