Office Assistant for Contract Position in Nakuru, Kenya
We are hiring an Office Assistant to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Maintain filing system and organize documents
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Prepare and distribute memos, emails, and letters
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
