QA Engineer



We are in need of a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing team in Porto. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. Your main focus will be on creating and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and working closely with our development team to resolve issues. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans for new software features
- Conduct thorough manual testing on various platforms, including web and mobile
- Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, tools, and trends related to quality assurance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual testing on web and mobile platforms
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java or Python
- ISTQB certification is a plus
