Barista - Indian Specialty (Contract)

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Barista with a passion for Indian specialty coffee to join our team on a contract basis. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, including traditional Indian beverages such as chai and filter coffee. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, as well as providing excellent customer service to our diverse clientele. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with experience in the hospitality industry and a love for Indian culture.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including traditional Indian beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers
- Ensure all products are prepared according to company standards
- Educate customers about different types of Indian specialty coffees
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of Indian specialty coffees and drinks is required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills and ability to operate cash register accurately
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to various locations within Akron

Salary:
$1600 per month (contract position)

Location:
Akron, Ohio (candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States)
