Accountant - Full Time with Accommodation in Plovdiv, Bulgaria
We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified Accountant to join our team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports and budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software are required. Fluency in English is preferred but not required. We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month plus accommodation. Biometric passport is also required for this position.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Recording financial transactions accurately and timely
- Preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
- Evaluating financial performance and making recommendations for improvement
- Liaising with auditors to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Maintaining accurate records of company assets and liabilities
- Preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
- Assisting with tax preparation and filing
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (preferred)
- Biometric passport (required)
