Cruise Line Guest Relations Officer
As a Cruise Line Guest Relations Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests on board the ship. Your main duties will include greeting and assisting guests upon arrival, addressing any questions or concerns they may have, and ensuring their overall satisfaction with their experience.
To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a friendly and approachable demeanor. You should also be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks at once. Proficiency in English is a must for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the ship's facilities and services
- Assist guests with any inquiries or issues they may have during their stay
- Ensure that all guest requests are promptly addressed and resolved
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and feedback
- Monitor guest satisfaction through surveys and feedback forms
- Provide support to the Guest Services Manager as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality industry
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with composure
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Egyptian nationality preferred
