Freelance Copywriter

We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Copywriter to join our team in Atlanta. In this contract role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective copy for various projects, including marketing materials, website content, and social media posts. As a Copywriter, you will have the opportunity to showcase your writing skills and creativity while working on a variety of projects for our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for various mediums
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and ideas for projects
- Conduct research to ensure accuracy and relevance of information in copy
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure quality and consistency
- Meet project deadlines while managing multiple assignments simultaneously
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt writing style for different audiences
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Canadian clients
- Bilingual (English/French) proficiency

Salary: $900 per week (contract position)

Location: Atlanta, USA (Canadian applicants preferred)
