Database Administrator

We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As the Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your duties will include monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures. You will also be involved in database design and development projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems such as Oracle or MySQL. Additionally, experience with data backup and recovery procedures is preferred. This is a contract position that offers accommodation for non-local candidates and is open to students looking for part-time work. No English proficiency is required for this role.
