Crane Operator - Eldoret


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Eldoret. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate crane according to safety standards and job requirements
- Inspect crane before each use and report any defects
- Rig loads and operate crane controls to lift, move, and position materials
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radio
- Monitor weather conditions that may affect lifting operations
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance
- Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Valid crane operator license/certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes on construction sites
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and understand load charts
- Physical strength and stamina to operate the crane for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong focus on safety

Preferred:
- Experience operating different types of cranes (mobile, tower, etc.)
- Knowledge of basic rigging techniques
