Merchandiser for Clothing Store in Shan, China


We are seeking a qualified Merchandiser to join our clothing store team in Shan, China. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for selecting and purchasing the right products to be sold in our store. You will also be in charge of managing inventory levels and ensuring that products are displayed attractively and effectively to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with suppliers to select and purchase the best products for our store
- Monitor inventory levels and make necessary adjustments to meet customer demand
- Plan and execute visual merchandising strategies to showcase products effectively
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions and sales events
- Analyze sales data and trends to make informed decisions on product selection and pricing
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure profitability for the store
- Keep track of industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of market changes

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Knowledge of clothing trends, styles, and brands preferred
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese (preferred)
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions based on market trends
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must have their own housing arrangements. This position is open to all genders.
