Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Fonvieille. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing our company's databases. You will work closely with the development team to ensure efficient database design and implementation, as well as troubleshoot any database issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management systems and be familiar with SQL, Oracle, and other database technologies. Experience with biometric passport systems is preferred but not required. This position offers a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain database structures for optimal performance
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and updates
- Collaborate with development team to design efficient databases for new projects
- Optimize existing databases for improved efficiency
- Conduct regular data audits to identify any errors or discrepancies
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and other database technologies
- Experience with biometric passport systems is preferred but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Proven track record of successfully managing and maintaining databases
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Location: This role is based in Fonvieille but remote work options may be available. We welcome candidates from all nationalities.

Salary: The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
