Milling Machine Operator - Osijek, Croatia

We are hiring a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Osijek. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate should have experience operating milling machines and be able to read technical drawings. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1300 per month. Responsibilities:
- Set up milling machines by installing and adjusting tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers
- Read technical drawings to determine machining operations required
- Adjust machine controls to regulate factors such as cutting depth and speed
- Operate the machine to perform drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, counterboring and countersinking operations
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed for quality control
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect any defects or malfunctions in the machine or finished product
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safe operation practices for machinery
- Experience with CNC machinery is a plus
