Entry Level Smelter Operator

We are in search of an entry level Smelter Operator to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. This is a contract position with a salary of $1400 USD per month. This role is open to English speaking individuals from any nationality, and prior experience is not required. However, candidates with a background in metallurgy or relevant technical training will be given preference.

As an Entry Level Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating the smelting equipment and ensuring the safe and efficient production of metals. Your duties will include monitoring the smelting process, adjusting controls as needed, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for conducting quality control checks and maintaining accurate production records.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong interest in metallurgy and a willingness to learn on the job. You must be physically fit and able to work in a hot and fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team are also essential for this position.

Please note that this is not a residential position and accommodation will not be provided. As such, we are looking for individuals who are currently residing in or willing to relocate to Bungoma for the duration of the contract.
