Crane Operator in Muscat, Oman


We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites. You will be expected to follow all safety protocols and regulations while also efficiently completing tasks within designated timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes and other heavy equipment according to job site needs
- Inspect crane equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with team members to coordinate lifts and ensure safety
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and equipment usage
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines at all times
- Regularly inspect rigging equipment for damage or wear
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes in a construction environment
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- Ability to read and understand load charts
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Physical ability to operate heavy machinery and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues

Salary:
Starting salary is 1500$ per month based on experience.

Location:
This position is located in Muscat, Oman. Preference will be given to Canadian citizens, but foreigners with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Employment Type:
This is a full-time position with the expectation of working 40 hours per week.
