Smelter Operator

We are seeking a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Nakuru. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to melt and refine metals and alloys. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, and other variables to ensure proper operation
- Load raw materials into the furnace and adjust controls as needed
- Monitor production process and make adjustments as needed
- Perform quality control checks on finished products
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance or repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in smelting or metal refining preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a hot and physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Nakuru, Kenya
