Land Surveyor

As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and other features of land. You will use specialized equipment and technology to accurately measure and map the land, and then analyze the data to create detailed reports and drawings for clients. You will also work closely with other professionals, such as architects, engineers, and construction managers, to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with the survey data.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques. You must be able to operate various surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners. Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software is also necessary for creating accurate maps and drawings.

Your responsibilities will include conducting field surveys using both traditional methods and advanced technology, such as drones or LiDAR systems. You will also be responsible for setting up control points, taking precise measurements of angles and distances, and recording data accurately. Additionally, you may be required to prepare legal descriptions of properties or provide expert testimony in court cases.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You should also possess strong communication skills as you will often interact with clients and other professionals on projects. A degree in surveying or a related field is usually required for this position.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month. It is based in Al-Khor but may require travel to various locations within the city or country for projects.
