Job Title: Preservation Architect
We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Herzliya, Israel. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. This role requires a high level of expertise in architectural design, construction techniques, and preservation methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary restoration and preservation measures
- Develop detailed plans and designs for restoration projects that adhere to historical guidelines
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to oversee the implementation of restoration projects
- Monitor project progress and ensure that preservation standards are being met
- Conduct research on historical buildings and materials to inform restoration plans
- Prepare reports and documentation for official agencies regarding restoration projects
- Keep up-to-date with current trends and advancements in preservation techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in architectural design, preferably with a focus on preservation
- Strong understanding of historical architecture, construction techniques, and preservation methods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month. We welcome candidates from all levels of experience, including those without prior experience in the field. Fluency in English is not required for this role. However, proficiency in Hebrew is preferred due to the location of our company.
