Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Akron. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and configuring our company's computer networks and systems. This includes troubleshooting network issues, installing and upgrading software, and ensuring the security of our network.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- Maintain system backups and monitor data storage
- Ensure the security of our network by implementing firewalls, encryption methods, and other security measures
- Install and upgrade software applications as needed
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network and system issues
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop new solutions to improve network efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP)
- Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technology (VMware)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1400 per month.
Location: Akron.
Nationality preference: Indian.
