Data Mining Analyst



We are currently seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Funchal. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large amounts of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques and tools to analyze data sets.
- Develop and maintain data mining algorithms to extract relevant information from large datasets.

- Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data sets to inform business decisions.
- Create visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data mining or related field.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, R or other programming languages commonly used for data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information quickly.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings into simple terms.
