Carpenter (Part-Time)
Location: Funchal, Portugal



We are in need of a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team on a part-time basis in Funchal, Portugal. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will also be responsible for interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine layout and building procedures.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong attention to detail, excellent mathematical skills, and the ability to work independently. Previous experience as a Carpenter is required, as well as proficiency in using various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimming etc.
- Construct building frameworks including walls, floors etc.
- Repair or replace damaged wooden parts of structures
- Inspect work for accuracy and quality assurance
- Comply with safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this part-time position. Accommodation can also be provided if needed.
