Job Title: Android Developer


We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Faro, Portugal. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining high-quality code that is scalable and efficient. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and fix bugs to improve application performance
- Ensure code quality by writing clean, maintainable code
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies relevant to mobile development
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Work closely with UX/designers to implement UI/UX elements into applications
- Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and best practices
- Maintain high levels of productivity while working independently or in a team environment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with published apps on the Google Play Store
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs integration
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Solid understanding of mobile application design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently or collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality work
