Indian Librarian in Al-Khor


We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Indian Librarian to join our team in Al-Khor. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and locating materials, and maintaining the library's cataloging system. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Library Science or a related field, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. This position offers a competitive salary of 1200$, with no English language requirements and without accommodation. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by acquiring, organizing, cataloging, and maintaining books and other materials
- Assist patrons with research inquiries by guiding them to relevant resources and providing information on library services
- Maintain the library's cataloging system by ensuring accurate entry of new materials and updating existing records
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan and execute educational programs, events, and displays
- Train library assistants or volunteers on basic library tasks such as shelving books or checking in/out materials
- Stay up-to-date on current trends in library science and implement new technologies or resources as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service oriented with the ability to assist diverse groups of patrons
- Proficient computer skills including knowledge of library systems/catalogs
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
