Turner for Metal Fabrication Company in Mombasa


We are a well-established metal fabrication company located in Mombasa, seeking a skilled Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal turning and machining, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and visa sponsorship opportunities for qualified individuals.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain lathe machines to produce precision metal components according to blueprints or specifications
- Set up, adjust, and calibrate tools and equipment for efficient and accurate production
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Turner or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of operating lathe machines, including tooling selection, setup, and maintenance
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Good understanding of various metals and their properties
- Physical dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in metal fabrication or manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with CNC machines is an advantage
