Solar Installer

We are seeking a qualified Solar Installer to join our team in Braga. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of electrical systems, construction techniques, and safety protocol.

Responsibilities:
- Install solar panel systems according to specifications and safety standards
- Conduct site surveys to determine optimal placement of panels
- Perform basic electrical wiring and connections for solar panels
- Ensure all equipment is properly secured and fastened to roofs or other structures
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing solar panel systems
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance work
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in solar panel installation or related field
- Knowledge of electrical systems and construction techniques
- Familiarity with relevant safety protocols and regulations
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail

Salary: $1400 per month with accommodation provided. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime pay.

Location: Braga, Portugal. Candidates must have their own valid visa for working in Portugal.
