Senior Accountant


We are in search of an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dar Kulaib. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly financial close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or issues
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Review and approve vendor invoices for payment
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper allocation of expenses
- Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an accountant, with at least 2 years in a senior role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
