Housekeeping Assistant


As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a private residence in Mombasa, Kenya. This is an ideal position for someone who is detail-oriented, hardworking, and has a passion for making homes look their best.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchens
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Wash, dry, and iron laundry
- Organize closets and other storage areas
- Stock household supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Assist with meal preparation and clean up after meals
- Maintain outdoor areas such as patios, decks, and gardens

Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if needed
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of the household's affairs

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1500 per month. Salary may be negotiable based on previous experience.

Accommodation:
This position includes accommodation within the private residence. The housekeeping assistant will have their own bedroom with access to shared living areas.
