A reputable construction company in Akron is seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. We are looking for a hardworking individual with experience in masonry work and a passion for building and creating.

Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials to construct or repair walls, arches, chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures
- Spread mortar between joints using trowels and other hand tools
- Cut or break bricks and concrete blocks to fit around windows, doors, openings, corners, and curves
- Align structures using plumb lines or levels
- Mix cement, sand, and water to create mortar or grout
- Repair existing masonry structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Install insulation materials in between walls for energy efficiency
- Clean work area after completing job tasks

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
