Junior Accountant - Braga, Portugal


We are in need of a Junior Accountant to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, and performing various accounting tasks as assigned.

Your main responsibilities will include recording daily transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end close procedures. You will also be expected to assist with budgeting and forecasting processes and provide support for audits.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software is required. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month. We also provide accommodation for our employees. While Portuguese nationality or residence is preferred, we are open to candidates from other nationalities who have their own valid visa to work in Portugal.
