We are a leading technology company in Braga, Portugal and we are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of our network and computer systems. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Experience with virtualization technology such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Proficiency in server administration, including Windows Server and Linux/UNIX systems
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or SQL Server
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Responsibilities:
- Install hardware and software for new network devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Maintain security protocols to ensure the safety of our data
- Perform regular backups of systems to prevent data loss
- Provide technical support to employees for network-related issues
- Work closely with vendors to resolve hardware or software problems
- Keep up-to-date documentation on network configuration and procedures
