As a Pastry Chef in our bustling kitchen in Braga, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our customers. Your role will involve preparing and baking various types of pastries, cakes, and other treats, as well as overseeing the kitchen staff and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and executing dessert menus that are creative, unique, and on-brand
- Preparing a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods from scratch
- Managing inventory of ingredients and ensuring timely ordering to avoid shortages
- Training and supervising kitchen staff in pastry preparation techniques
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment in accordance with food safety standards
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new recipes and concepts

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant or bakery setting
- Solid understanding of different pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and baking procedures
- Creativity and passion for creating beautiful desserts that taste as good as they look
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team of kitchen staff
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Formal training from a culinary school or equivalent experience preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this full-time position.

This position is located in the vibrant city of Braga, known for its rich history, beautiful architecture, and delicious cuisine. Our restaurant is located in the heart of the city center, easily accessible by public transportation.
