We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team in Almada. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and programming languages such as Python or R. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms and models.
- Gather and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Develop data pipelines for efficient data ingestion and processing.
- Implement data preprocessing techniques to improve model performance.
- Train, validate, and deploy machine learning models into production.
- Monitor model performance and make necessary improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning technologies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and retrieval.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Location:
This position is located in Almada. The city offers a beautiful coastal location with easy access to Lisbon. Candidates must have their own accommodation and valid work visa for Portugal.
