Merchandiser for Indian Market in Los Angeles

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Los Angeles, focusing on the Indian market. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability for our company. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Indian products and a strong understanding of the Indian market.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability for the Indian market in Los Angeles
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competition in the Indian market
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate favorable terms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to develop effective product promotions and campaigns for the Indian market
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for stock replenishment based on demand
- Maintain relationships with existing clients while also identifying new business opportunities within the Indian community
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior in the Indian market

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Merchandiser or similar role, preferably in the retail industry with a focus on the Indian market
- Strong knowledge of Indian culture, customs, and consumer behavior
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have biometric passport or ability to obtain one
