Loader Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Loader Supervisor to oversee the loading and unloading of goods in our warehouse in Funchal. As the Loader Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of loaders and ensuring that all goods are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory records, monitoring shipment schedules, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods. This is a contract job with visa sponsorship available, making it an excellent opportunity for students or individuals looking for short-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of loaders and provide guidance and support as needed
- Ensure that all goods are properly loaded and unloaded according to safety regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor shipment schedules
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Train new loaders on proper loading techniques and safety procedures
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or damages
- Ensure that the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free from hazards
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and other internal departments regarding loading requirements and schedules
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory management systems)
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Familiarity with safety regulations for loading equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify potential problems or errors before they occur

Salary: $1500 per month. Location: Funchal, Portugal.
