Slinger - Construction Worker


We are seeking a skilled Slinger to join our construction team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Slinger, you will work closely with the crane operator to ensure the safe and efficient movement of construction materials on site.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately attach and detach loads to the crane hook
- Direct the crane operator using hand signals or a radio
- Ensure loads are properly secured before lifting
- Monitor load weight and communicate any issues to the crane operator
- Properly stack and store materials on site
- Inspect slings and other equipment for wear and tear
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations on site

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Slinger or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of hand signals used in construction sites
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 USD per month.

Location:
This position is based in Bungoma, Kenya. Candidates must have valid work authorization in Kenya.
