Head Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Gujrat, India. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delectable and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our restaurant. You will also be responsible for managing the pastry kitchen, training and supervising junior pastry chefs, and maintaining inventory and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Develop new recipes while keeping up with current trends
- Maintain high quality standards in taste, presentation, and consistency
- Manage the pastry kitchen, including ordering ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Oversee inventory levels to minimize waste and control costs
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed in the kitchen
- Collaborate with the executive chef to create seasonal menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards
- Creative flair for developing new recipes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Exceptional time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or pastry making preferred
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

This role is located in Gujrat, India.
