Front-End Web Developer

We are a fast-growing tech company based in Akron, seeking a highly skilled Front-End Web Developer to join our team. This position is open to candidates of all nationalities, but preference will be given to Indian and Kenyan applicants. This is an English-speaking job, so fluency in English is required.

As a Front-End Web Developer, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with on our website. You will work closely with our design and back-end development teams to create a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design team to translate mock-ups into code
- Write efficient, clean, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness
- Troubleshoot and debug code as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in web development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience as a Front-End Web Developer or similar role
- Proficient understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
- Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Akron, but remote work may be considered for the right candidate.
