Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team in Bungoma. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with various vehicles and equipment. You must have a strong understanding of automotive systems and be able to work with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups
- Use diagnostic tools to identify problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding necessary repairs and estimated costs
- Keep track of parts inventory and order necessary supplies
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician (at least 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including gasoline and diesel engines
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as scanners and code readers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:
- Biometric passport for ease of travel between countries (not required)

- Experience working with Indian vehicles (not required)
- Prior experience working with women customers (not required)
