School Librarian

We are hiring a highly qualified and experienced School Librarian to join our educational institution in Ar-Ruwais. As a School Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the school library, overseeing the collection of books and resources, and promoting reading and literacy among students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily operations of the school library, including cataloging, shelving, and circulation of materials.
• Develop and maintain a diverse collection of books, magazines, and other resources that support the curriculum.
• Create engaging displays and activities to promote reading and literacy among students.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into lesson plans and support student research projects.
• Instruct students on how to effectively use library resources and technology.
• Maintain accurate records of library materials, including loans, returns, and overdue items.
• Stay updated on current trends in education technology and incorporate them into the library program.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a librarian in an educational setting.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, teachers, and parents.
• Knowledge of library cataloging systems and technology tools used in libraries.
• Passion for promoting reading and literacy among students.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1700$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Ar-Ruwais. We welcome applicants from all nationalities.

Working Hours:
The working hours for this position are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM from Sunday to Thursday.
