A reputable architectural firm in Ashdod is seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while adhering to strict safety and preservation guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historic buildings and structures to understand their original design and construction materials
- Create detailed preservation plans that outline the necessary repairs and restoration work
- Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that all preservation work is carried out according to established guidelines
- Monitor the progress of preservation projects and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with local government agencies to ensure that all preservation work complies with regulations and codes
- Document all preservation work and maintain accurate records of materials used, costs, and project timelines
- Educate clients on the importance of preserving historic buildings for future generations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and historic preservation principles
- Excellent research skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with government agencies is preferred
- Fluent in Hebrew (English proficiency is a plus)
