Instrument Technician - Contract Position (Suitable for Men) in US


We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in a contract position located in the US. This is a suitable position for men with or without experience in the field. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various types of instruments used in industrial and laboratory settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on various instruments including but not limited to flow meters, pressure gauges, thermometers, and analyzers
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with malfunctioning instruments
- Perform repairs and replacements on faulty components
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Assist with installation of new instruments as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)
- Previous experience as an Instrument Technician is preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to read technical diagrams and instructions
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Physically fit to perform the duties of the job including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
