Restaurant Manager - Malindi, Kenya
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations including food and beverage preparation, customer service, staff management, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize daily operations of the restaurant
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Train and supervise staff members on proper food handling and customer service procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and minimize costs
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Maintain records of sales, expenses, and inventory levels
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff members
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and managing costs effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1700 per month
