Job Title: Caregiver for Elderly in Funchal, Portugal


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional care for elderly individuals in Funchal, Portugal. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. This position is suitable for all nationalities and does not require previous experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care needs including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly individuals
- Accompany clients to appointments or social activities if needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Requirements:
- Must be legally able to work in Portugal without sponsorship
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required
- Must be fluent in Portuguese (spoken) and have basic communication skills in English (written)
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding towards elderly individuals

Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1600$ per month. In addition, accommodation will be provided for the chosen candidate.
