We are in search of a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Almada. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our company's databases. Your main duties will include monitoring database performance, ensuring data integrity, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate backup and recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide quick resolutions to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth integration of databases with other systems
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and user manuals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of database design, development, maintenance, and security protocols
- Familiarity with various database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month for this full-time position.
