We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex data problems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop machine learning algorithms and models to solve business problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for applying machine learning techniques
- Analyze large datasets and perform data preprocessing tasks
- Evaluate the performance of machine learning models and make necessary improvements
- Develop code in languages such as Python, R, or Java to implement machine learning solutions
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of machine learning and apply them to improve existing processes
- Communicate insights and results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Experience with data preprocessing techniques such as data cleaning, feature selection, and normalization
- In-depth understanding of machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow or PyTorch is a plus
- Experience working with large datasets using SQL or other database querying languages
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Excellent communication skills
